Meet Kali Moe, Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois' Healthy Bone Nurse PractitionerFriday, September 18th, 2020, 2:01 pm
You will be seeing a new name and face around the Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois. It is with great pleasure we introduce to you Kali Moe, Family Nurse Practitioner in our Healthy Bone Clinic.
Kali brings 11 years of experience in the medical field to OISI. She has a background in nursing home, wound care, and medical surgical nursing in orthopedics.
Kali is passionate about helping patients and wants them to take an active role in their health and help them understand that osteoporosis can have a huge impact on their health. She says by being seen at the Healthy Bone Clinic, “we can look at the results of the patient’s bone density and come up with a plan for treatment on the same day.”
“It is a great feeling to see a patient have an overall improvement, especially when they have become involved in their care as well.”
Kali received her Registered Nurse certification from John A. Logan, Bachelor of Science in Nursing at McKendress, and her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University and is a local native of Southern IL. She relocated back to the area after living in western New York for four years. She wanted to be closer to her family after having her son, Oliver, a year ago.
