Foot & Ankle Center
Ambulation is a critical function that is often significantly impaired by foot and ankle conditions. New advances in foot and ankle surgery allow surgeons to correct conditions that patients were previously told “to live with.”
With new developments in ankle replacement surgery, replacing the ankle versus fusion is a new reality offering the potential for a near-normal gait. Most foot and ankle surgery is now performed on an outpatient basis often allowing patients an early return to weight-bearing activities.
